Labor – Lectures on Improvisation

The format Labor – Lectures on Improvisation is aimed at musicians scientists  workshop and ensemble participants listeners. The goal is the joint public exploration of special topics of improvisation. Specialists scientists, musicians, performers are invited to some of the Labor events, while in others we focus on topics that are discussed as well as practically improvised.

Sound and Lecture – Improvisation in Dialogue

Sound and Lecture Improvisation in Dialogue is a concert format that combines improvised music with conversation. You can hear extemporication in concert, explorations, debates and discourses. We introduce musicians whose art of improvisation is also reflected in and based on reflection and/or science.
We present a format the outcome of which cannot and should not be foreseen neither by the planner nor by the invited musicians nor by the guests.
Moderator of this concert series is Dr. Reinhard Gagel.
