(This workshop is held in German, but a translation to English is possible.)
In this holiday course we will create our own impro-orchestra! We invent music together from the moment: with everything that sounds and in such a way that everyone can play along. We’ll explore sounds and noises, experiment with all kinds of instruments, and discover how music can be used to paint pictures and tell stories.
The class is for all children ages 9-12 who have a desire to invent music with others. Previous experience is not necessary, everyone is welcome in our group. Those who have their own instrument are welcome to bring it.
On Friday we will go on an excursion to the Jazzfest Berlin, to exchange with other children’s groups. We will also present a sample of our own music.
