This vacation course is for children aged 4-8 who would like to discover sounds and make music in the fairytale forest.
We will go slowly and attentively on our journey through the fantasy forest, exploring it and listening for its sounds and noises. We may even discover strange mythical creatures….
With sounds and natural materials, the wonder forest is staged around us. We dress up as forest creatures, sing, dance and create a forest orchestra together. In the process, we invent imaginative stories.
We place special emphasis on working with games that serve to sensitize the listener, as well as on consciously creating sound and reflecting on it together.
Previous experience is not necessary.
The course is led by the musicians Hada Benedito and Chie Nagai, who teach experimental music and the art of listening to a young audience with the project “Klangplatz”.
