The participants in the Improvisation Reading Circle led by Mathias Maschat are themselves improvisers from various professions: musicians, dancers, visual artists. At the same time, they are also thinkers, for whom it is important to reflect about the art of improvisation and to communicate with others about it.
From this constellation, the idea arose in 2022 to organize a day together with own topics, improvisations and discussions every six months and – as a balance to the otherwise digital meetings – in presence.
