Instrument maker Stefan Roszak shows how to build well sounding instruments with just a few hand movements.
In the presence of the participants, about ten different simple musical instruments are built within two hours, which can be easily reproduced. Their function, acoustic basics and music-historical connections are explained in a vivid way. Afterwards, the instruments will be played in an improvised orchestra.
Number of participants: max. 15 persons. Larger groups (e.g. school classes) can be divided. The two-hour handicraft part is then performed twice in a row. Afterwards the sub-groups are brought together again in the one-hour musical part.
