… what can you discover in our shadow play? This summer vacation course is aimed at children who like to write little stories and poems and experiment with shadow play. Together we will dive into a colorful world of lights and shadows and let our imagination roam like cloud gazing. We look for words for shapes and discover, for example, flounder birds or wolf hens, give them names and think up what they experience. In the process, we try out different poetic forms, with and without rhyme. At the end, we will have the opportunity to show our works to a small audience in a multimedia shadow play reading.

This vacation course builds on the workshop concept “Sound and Shadow” of the project team „Mathe x Kunst“ and combines it with language arts and methods of poetic education.
