Dear visitors to the exploratorium berlin,
Even though the unpredictable is our profession, we would like to try to shed some light on the current access situation to the exploratorium.
There are a total of 3 entrances
Entrance G/”Gastro” (through the catering area)
As the catering area is closed and we are looking for a new catering partner, this entrance is currently only used in a few exceptions, namely for concerts in the two series: Improvisation International and Sound and Lecture.
Entrance H/”Hof” (courtyard)
This is currently our “normal” entrance for visitors.
From the street you enter the courtyard through the left or middle wrought iron gate.
On the left side there is an elongated building with entrance H in the middle. This entrance is clearly marked.
When events take place, the door can be opened with a code that is entered into the number field to the left of the door. Participants of the events receive this code from the respective workshop leader.
We urgently ask that you close the door again to avoid visits from “uninvited guests”!
Both entrances (G and H) lead to our foyer on the ground floor, where our concert hall is also located. The staircase or elevator takes you to the other floors: the basement with Studio 1, the first floor with the explo office and the second floor with Studio 2 and Studio 3. Please see our posters to find out which event is taking place where.
Entrance B/”Büro” (office)
is relevant for those who have an appointment with a team member in the office, for example for room instructions or similar. This entrance is in the tenants’ staircase at Zossener Straße 24. Please ring the bell downstairs, the office is on the first floor
