Anaís Furtado

Brazilian artist Anaís Furtado has been living in Germany since 2000, where she works as a freelance actress, singer and project coordinator in a neighbourhood house. Her studies in cultural sciences and Latin American studies as well as her passion for improvisational theatre are reflected in her work. She sees improvisation as a valuable tool in social work and is particularly interested in exploring the experiences of migrants.

She has been leading children’s workshops since 2021 and an improvisation group for Brazilian migrants at the House of Diversity since 2024.
