David Dove

The trombonist, composer, improvisation musician and teacher is active in North America, Europe and Vietnam with performances and workshops. He has worked with numerous American and international contemporary artists. His collaboration with Pauline Oliveros, in whose “Deep Listening Institute” he has been teaching for years, has been particularly important to him. As the founder of “nameless sound”, a non-profit organisation in Houston/Texas, he has organised important concerts with top-class contemporary music and pioneered an innovative concept for conveying musical creativity through improvisation.
