Elisabeth Zündel
Performer, actress, director and lecturer in performing arts
Studied music (piano) at the Hanover University of Music and Theater, studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Founded the Theater zum historischen Stadthirschen Berlin, where she was a long-standing member of the management team; directing, acting, performance in many projects. Since 1996, freelance actress, director and performer in various productions in Berlin, Stuttgart, Italy and Switzerland.
Performances (selection): “Goldberg-Vari-aktionen” solo performance based on Joh. Seb. Bach (Berlin, Stuttgart, Rome), chanson evening with songs by Georg Kreisler (Berlin, Hanover) “Acheron” by Gertrud Leutenegger (artist funding from the Berlin Senate), “Suburra” based on “The Invisible Cities” by Italo Calvino (director of the Bologna city project) “Unter Glas” solo performance for I GING Berlin); most recently as a performer in contemporary music theater: “St. Jago” by Dieter Schnebel (Ultraschall 2005/6), “As I crossed a bridge of dreams” by Peter Eötvös (Berliner Festspielhaus, Märzmusik 2006).
