1 Weekend Workshop:

Interplay

Location: exploratorium berlin, hall

In improvisation we constantly let go and at the same time turn to the new. That’s what we use for: listen and stop. This interplay often requires the whole body as a “listening organ”.

In individual, partner and group exercises, we practice using movement, voice, language and sound bodies to shape our expression spontaneously and consciously. Imitation serves us as the origin of play, thus freeing us from the pressure to be particularly original or creative and discovering that pure being itself is creativity. We use our body sensations, memories, thoughts and the group as a resource for imagination, fantasy and play.

This approach integrates body, mind and soul and encourages spontaneous and conscious expression and lives from the heterogeneity of the group. My focus is on the applicability of improvisation on stage and in other areas of life, as survivability/ viability and vitality.

Previous knowledge is not necessary. Open to all.
