Anna Barth, freelance dancer + artistic director of TanzArt Labor Berlin, has been exploring the connection between improvisation and Butoh for many years. The expanded view of the body and its movement forms the basis of her artistic practice and its mediation. The focus is on the memory of the body in its existential poetic power, its reality and possibility.
