Everything is in vibration – we react to each other, we resonate with each other. These principles can be transferred to our playing with the body and instruments/sound.
After a somatic body warm-up that sharpens our senses, we will acquire improvisation tools that bring together different resonances, sounds and timbres.
We will work with our own bodies in combination with instruments, objects and space.
The method of listening/deep listening or ’embodied listening’ precedes all reactions. Listening well and reacting therefore belong directly together. We listen with our whole body and react with all our senses.
The sound experiments become meditative soundscapes that take up space in a slow build-up of tension.
The principles of tension, emptiness, silence and intensification, tempi, dynamics and volume are the guiding principles of our work.
