The Vocalia Improva ensemble has been researching and experimenting with many current themes for over 10 years. In the process, forms were created that were improvisationally filled with and through the voice.
There were and are ensemble members, different characters, who have been with the ensemble for a certain period of time over the years and others who have stayed with it to this day. As a result, there has always been movement in the ensemble and also in the form of expression.
However, the entire work of recent years bears the signature of Christian Wolz, who founded and directed the ensemble.
In 2022, the ensemble ended its work in its original form.
Since 2023, four former members and Christian Wolz have been working as a well-rehearsed team under the new name “V_ünf”, researching and experimenting with the combination of improvisation and compositional elements.
