SCHWARM 13 was founded in 2014 and currently consists of 15 musicians of various backgrounds and 2 dancers, all of whom maintain an unconstrained style of improvisation. The ensemble works and experiments with a variety of open structures and impulses. It convinces its audience with clarity, transparency, versatility, joy of playing and humor.
The collaboration with the dancers Ingo Reulecke and Katharina Resch from 2021 goes back to the project Terpsichore, in which musicians, dancers and video artists cooperated in improvisations to pieces by Praetorius under the direction of Frank Fiedler.
Performances in Georgensaal (Parochialkirche), Emmaus-Kirche, exploratorium berlin, ARTIST HOMES, Gotischer Saal – Galerie Kremers, Aufsturz/Jazzkeller69 and in 2020 outdoor performances in the courtyard of the Haus der Statistik as part of the opera project LA AGONIA
