(This workshop can be held in German or English.)
The two-dimensional flatland creatures live in the flatlands. Suddenly, a shadow starts to move: it grows larger and begins to transform.
A winged animal gradually becomes a ship. How is this illusion created? And what happens next?
Based on the transformation of the flat shadows through the rotation and movement of three-dimensional objects behind the shadow wall
the children playfully explore what surfaces, bodies and projections, 2D and 3D are all about.
What sounds are in the things around us? Which ones do we find exciting? And what is it that actually vibrates?
Musical improvisations are developed from everyday materials and simple instruments that are made to resonate.
In this interdisciplinary workshop, we tinker and invent, try out, question and discuss, and open our eyes and ears to the exciting phenomena of our environment.
We will explore the phenomena of light and sound in an artistic and scientific way.
What do they have in common? We look for connections and differences and try out how the two interact.
In the course of the workshop, the children will develop a sound and shadow play of their journey of discovery through the changing world of light and sound waves.
of light and sound waves.
In the process, mathematical and physical topics can be experienced through the senses.
The project is a cooperation with the association Die Lernwerkstatt – Lernen und lernen lassen e.V. and his Projekt Mathe x Kunst.
