Andrew Morrish

e began improvising with Al Wunder’s “Theatre of the Ordinary” in Melbourne, Australia, in 1982. In 1987 he founded “Trotman and Morrish” together with Peter Trotman, another founding member of the “Theatre of the Ordinary”. The two performed with their unique improvisation duo in Australia and the USA, until Andrew moved to Sydney in 1999 to pursue his solo career.

Since 2000 he has continued to develop his solo career and teach in Australia and Europe. For 2016-2017 he was awarded the Australia Council for the Arts Dance Fellowship.

He has taught and performed in France (Paris, Bouxwiller, Bescançon), Germany (Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg), Sweden (Gothenburg), Norway (Oslo), Poland (Poznan), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Austria (Linz), New Zealand (Auckland) and Australia (Castlemaine, Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne).
