Anna Barth

Dancer and choreographer – moves as a border crosser in the field of tension between Western and Eastern dance art. With a background in modern dance with Alwin Nikolais and Murray Louis in New York and several years studying Butoh dance with Kazuo Ohno and Yoshito Ohno in Japan, she has dedicated herself as a dancer since 1995 to the development of her own dance and body language, which explores elementary human experiences and makes them the subject of her work.

Experimental projects with international artists from the fields of improvised/contemporary music and visual arts.
Director of TanzArt Labor Berlin since 2004.
