Emilio Gordoa
Emilio Gordoa Rodríguez (born in Mexico City in 1987) is a sound artist, composer, percussionist and improviser who lives in Berlin. Since 2012, Emilio has shaped Berlin’s real-time music scene through his work combining vibraphone-based sound concepts, electronics, and performative approaches.
As a composer, he develops music for ensembles, theatre, dance and film, often in the form of graphic scores. He regularly collaborates with musicians from around the world and has performed at renowned festivals such as the Moers Festival, MaerzMusik, and the Meakusma Festival.
