Leah Naemi Wewoda
Leah Naemi Wewoda, born in 1998, is an actress, voice artist and puppeteer who lives and works in Berlin and internationally. As part of her studies at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, she was a visiting student at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mézières, France, in 2022. This has fostered a close connection to the Franco-German theatre world. In 2023, she developed the Franco-German object theatre production *Bambi*, directed by Katy de Ville and Sophie Barthels. This was presented as part of the fmtm puppet festival in Charleville.
In her work, she is interested in the convergence of different art forms; for her, this is where the potential of artistic stage creation lies. Previous productions have taken her to venues including the Uferstudios Berlin, the Schaubude Berlin, the Haus des Rundfunks and, together with the RambaZambaTheater ensemble, the Haus der Berliner Festspiele.
