What are the different pricing models?

• For concerts, performances, and panel discussions/talks:
• 15/12/6 € (Standard/Reduced/”Berechtigungnachweis”)
• 5 € (per evening/per event) 
• On a donation basis

or

• Free admission

For workshops, regular classes, and ensembles (prices are examples):

• 150/130 € (Standard/Reduced) 

oder 

• Between 80 € and 60 € (based on self-assessment)

For school class offers and further training courses without a set date:

• upon agreement

• Standard

  The standard rate is the regular price of an offer.

• Discounts

  Discounts are available for certain groups of people. These generally include:

  • School students, college students, and apprentices
  • Volunteers (FSJ, FÖJ, BFD)
  • Seniors
  • People with disabilities and, where applicable, their companions (Note B)

  Appropriate proof is required.

• Berechtigungsnachweis/Proof of Eligibility (formerly Berlinpass)

  The Proof of Eligibility rate is intended for people with low incomes or who receive government benefits (formerly the Berlin-Pass). Upon presentation of proof, they can receive special discounted rates.
  These include, for example:

  • People receiving a basic income, basic social support, or housing support (Wohngeldempfänger*innen)
  • Beneficiaries under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act

• Based on self-assessment/solidarity model

  In keeping with our principle of solidarity based on self-assessment, we want to make it possible for as many interested people as possible to participate. Here, you can determine the amount of your participation fee yourself, as long as it falls within the specified price range.
  The upper price corresponds to our standard price; the lower price is the minimum and corresponds to the discounted price.
  The amount is based on your own assessment; proof is not required.

What are foundation tickets?

For people with low incomes, we also offer a limited number of heavily subsidized tickets, known as foundation tickets. These are made possible through subsidies and donations. 

• learn events & play events / courses for adults

  Foundation tickets may be awarded for select programs in the Learning Space and Play Space sections.

  Please note:

  • an individual fee will be agreed upon.
  • The process and eligibility criteria vary depending on the program.
  • Information regarding required documentation will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
  • In the event of a cancellation, the General Terms and Conditions for Event Registration apply.

• Young explo / courses for children, teenagers, families

  For selected holiday courses, three foundation tickets are available for each course to holders of a berlinpass-BuT or comparable proof of eligibility.

  Bitte beachten Sie:

  • This offer is subject to availability.
  • Proof of eligibility is required.
  • A processing fee of 5€ applies, which will be retained as a processing fee in the event of cancellation.
