Magdalena Schatzmann

Pianist, improviser, and certified process work coach and facilitator. She lives in the Swiss mountains and works in Switzerland and internationally. As a musician, she creates workshop concerts in which she combines classical and contemporary piano works and improvisations with inner, process-oriented exercises.
She is frequently in demand as a moderator for discussions about contemporary musical works that are performed or premiered at concerts, for example at the Swiss Chamber Music Festival in the Bernese Oberland, a festival for prize winners of the Orpheus Competition of Swiss music academies.
Her process-oriented workshops with music focus primarily on the discovery of new, often unknown dimensions. The combination of process work with musical creativity allows participants to delve deeply into their personal artistic potential. In this way, music-making, improvisation, and composition can be continually renewed and deepened.
