Simon Rose
Dr. Simon Rose is a musician, writer and academic from London/England, living in Berlin/Germany.
He plays baritone and alto saxophone as a soloist and in various ensembles.
Simon Rose also works with dancers, visual artists and performers, using text, mixed media, built instruments, site-specific performances and more.
His research interests lie in creative processes and his publications include improvisation in music, education, dance, organization, law and emotion.
Early in his career he worked in theatre education and later taught in schools, colleges and universities in London, UK.
Much of this work involved working with students with learning difficulties, which sparked his interest in research.
