In the feeling of coherence, movement opens up to us as a resonance. Its sound space is a garden built by nature, people and spirit.
We can feel the coherence of the quality, form and character of a movement. Those are a direct expression of the resonance of our sensual participation in the natural, social and spiritual environment.
Perceived movement as resonance carries us far beyond ourselves into the field of communication and interaction.
In this seminar we focus in particular on a distinction between ritual, performance and offering; three ways to approach world across all senses.
This workshop is again open to everyone – including newcomers!
Amerta Movement was initiated by the Indonesian movement artist Suprapto Suryodarmo and developed in a 30-year dialogue between western and eastern culture. Rooted in Javanese philosophy and meditation, Amerta Movement is a practice that cultivates sensitivity, openness and presence. Improvisation takes place in a context in which we develop receptivity and awareness of the constellation and composition of the moment.
