The continuous Vibra Libre Ensemble is a direct continuation of the open introductory course Laboratorio InterSonante on 28 February–1 March. Here we deepen our joint practice of improvisation and composition in real time and develop a stable, creative ensemble that continuously researches and grows together.
The focus is on understanding music as a lived identity: we work with sound, body, space and listening as dynamic elements. Musical language becomes a collective tool with which we explore forms, energies and interactions – without fixed stylistic boundaries.
The ongoing nature of the ensemble allows us to establish longer-term processes: developing sound material, refining methods of collaboration and creating a common vocabulary. Musicians and performers who would like to work regularly in an experimental ensemble and are interested in exploring new avenues of creative improvisation through exchange with others are welcome to participate.
Those who wish to further develop their artistic practice and become part of a vibrant, constantly evolving sound collective will find the right space in the Vibra Libre Ensemble.
