These one- to two-day training courses for teachers are experience-oriented and participants should have a passion for movement/improvisation. No previous knowledge is required.
MOVEMENT is an essential medium for children to gain experience with themselves and their environment and at the same time a means of communication, creation and expression. DANCING not only stimulates the child’s psyche and fantasy world, it also promotes the individual’s relationship to the group in emotional and aesthetic terms.
During the training we will experience children’s dance lessons. The creative process will be characterized by an alternation between spontaneous expression and creative process, individual movements and collective actions, dancing and embodying dreams.
I am guided by the elementary movement themes according to Rudolf von Laban and by timeless, generally valid aspects of dance movement and my many years of experience in dancing with children.
