The workshop provides practical and creative tools for using touch, imagination and intuition, encouraging participants to establish a dialogue between action and perception of spontaneous movement. The workshop is designed as an ongoing experimental process, inviting participants to explore the relationship between time, breath and weight in order to experience a sense of grounding and presence. Through attentive listening and curiosity, we will ask ourselves: How do we embody ideas through form and shape?
Part I: Guided improvisation to warm up
The session begins with a guided improvisation that aims to integrate breathing, gravity, texture, support, rhythm and coordination. This warm-up programme develops body awareness, fluidity and efficient movement, and promotes a sense of readiness and connection.
Part II – Movement exploration and partner exercises
In the second phase, participants explore a variety of movement ideas and tasks through individual and partner exercises. This section supports personal and collective research and encourages creativity, awareness and active listening within the improvisation process.
Part III – Group Composition Exercise
The final phase focuses on group composition. Participants apply elements from earlier explorations to create collective structures that balance playfulness and precision. The emphasis is on collaboration, responsiveness, and compositional awareness.
