An intensive weekend exploring practices of improvisation in music and in dance. For musicians and dancers and those of other disciplines (teachers, visual artists etc.). We welcome experienced professionals, curious beginners and all those between.
Simon Rose (baritone saxophone) and Ingo Reulecke (dance) perform as a duo and in countless other projects. Both are highly experienced facilitators and active in artistic research.
We will work on fundamental key themes such as
- Trust
- Integration of the body
- Collaboration
- Perception
- Improvisation as an aesthetic practice
- Intention
- Process and
- Aspect of performance
The practice-based session will work on the embodiment of these themes and engage with the character of the group.
