In this workshop, we want to playfully create stories in an acoustic way.
Inspiration for this can come from literary examples, ideas collected together or our own writing.
During the workshop, we will sensitise our hearing and touching with various exercises and games. There will be moments when we can listen to the noises and sounds in silence. There will also be time to reflect on what we have explored in small groups.
Finally, the live audio play will be developed and set to sound with the help of language, voice, instruments, everyday objects and sounds produced by our own bodies.
The result of this creative process can be performed live on stage at the end of the workshop. It can be presented to the audience unseen behind a curtain or visibly in front of it. A combination of both is also possible. The audience can consist of the participants themselves or include friends and family, as desired.
The workshop is aimed at people aged 18 to 99 who are interested in creative forms of expression, regardless of their previous knowledge of sound, music and storytelling. It is particularly aimed at those who are looking for playful ways to give free rein to their imagination and connect with each other.
