Impulses, constellations and transitions

Present Time Composition (PTC©) is a method for collective improvisation created by Alan Bern. In a very detailed and practical way, it shows how to make more creative and coherent musical choices, both as a soloist and as a member of an ensemble. In this workshop, we will work in more detail on impulses and transitions and introduce different roles in duo and trio constellations.
Participants must have completed a PTC1 workshop taught by Alan.
