Amerta is movement in connection – we touch what is vulnerable and alive.
In this workshop we invite you to experience a flow of life that carries us forward through time. How does it touch us and (how) do we notice it? Can we feel it while we remain still and in the moment or while we are fully involved in our dance? Perhaps we experience “this existence of a continuous flow of life that can bring about bliss” (Arymurthy 1979) in our own way. Without judging, we can practice following the impulses and sensations that arise. And even if we then move strangely, strangely or beautifully, what is vulnerable and alive can be touched in it.
We also devote ourselves to practical matters:
- movement in resonance with our environment.
- non-doing, where moving and “being moved” flow into one another.
- impulses that come from the world of reality and the world of dreams; gravity and weightlessness; we move with the tangible and the invisible.
- being an audience at the same time as we do things (audience samadhi). We relax, receive, perceive and witness what is happening; from here we get involved again and incubate something, giving birth to movement that was just unseen.
