Everything is in vibration – we react to each other, resonate with each other. These principles can be applied to our playing with the body and instruments/sound.
After a somatic body warm-up , which brings our senses into focus, we will acquire improvisation tools that bring together different resonances, sounds, timbres.
We will work with our own body in connection with instruments, objects and the space.
The method of listening/Deep Listening or an ’embodied listening’ precedes all reacting. Good listening and responding thus belong directly together. We listen with the whole body, react with all our senses.
The sound experiments become meditative soundscapes that take space in a slow build-up of tension.
We follow the principles of tension, emptiness, silence and increase, tempi, dynamics, volume.
