The participants of the FREE (the) Mime workshop invite you to a special presentation of their learning process. Over the past few weeks, they have explored the basics of corporeal mime—a physically precise form of physical theater. At the same time, they have immersed themselves in the principles of free jazz improvisation in order to experience spontaneity, risk, and collaborative composition in the moment.
This final presentation is not a stage production, but an open space in which the students show what they have discovered, practiced, and dared to do during this intensive artistic journey.
We look forward to the wonderful collaboration of musicians Edith Steyer (clarinet) and Céline Voccia (piano), who will improvise together with the participants and open up a dialogue between body and sound.
