!Offhandopera! – New work
!Offhandopera! is music theatre based on musical and vocal improvisation. It is performed ad hoc and without rehearsals in concert with few props. The momentary and spontaneous is the attraction of this form of music theatre, the result is unpredictable. Musicians and singers set (sing, speak, make music) to a libretto specially written for this performance under the direction of an improvising conductor. The performance is completely impromptu. Players and audience balance on the edge of the moment.

Interested instrumentalists and singers with experience in improvisation can take part in this performance. Registration and participation in the rehearsal afternoon are prerequisites for this.
