This text-sound performance consists of three parts. The first act is freely improvised, gradually forming a comprehensible, short sequence of speech from various vocal sounds, electroacoustic distortions, and experimental sound structures. This first act is recorded live and then played back immediately afterwards in the second act via loudspeakers, counterpointed and supplemented by further live actions by the two performers. The third act consists of a short coda, again freely improvised live. The text consists of two short quotations from a real television interview, which also appeared in various news programs and newspaper articles. The artistic content includes, on the one hand, the complete deconstruction of a text, which is partially heavily edited electroacoustically and live performatively and alienated in a surreal theatrical production to the point of pure speech sound composition. The two text fragments originate from recent political history, but have since been used in this or very similar diction in several other political situations. After the concert, the source of the text fragments will therefore be revealed, discussed with the audience, and reflected upon together.
