Four musicians who have previously collaborated in smaller constellations in Istanbul and Berlin, but never as a quartet, come together for a concert in exploratorium berlin. Each of them carries sonic memories and imprints of these earlier encounters. In this concert, they imagine weaving those threads into a larger fabric: the quartet as a web of remembering and creating new sonic memories. Within this weave, sonic idiosyncrasies of each individual, the duos, and the trios emerge—as they go through a series of negotiations, a continual process of weaving a sonic tissue that holds all together, both singularly and plurally.
