The exploratorium is taking part in the 16th Family Night with three open activities, an event where families can turn night into day once a year.
Night-time in the Sound Forest
(Concert Hall)
In the exploratorium’s hall, you’ll find the Sound Playfield. Here, you can explore dark tones and bright sounds.
In an improvisational game at 17:15, 18:15, 19:15 and 20:15, we’ll embark on a musical journey through the nocturnal Sound Forest.
(Active participation from age 6; younger children are welcome to come along.)
Shadow Plays: Stories from the Deep Sea
(Studio 2)
Interactive shadow plays are on offer in Studio 2. We’ll dive into the twilight zone: using light and paper, we’ll create light fish, sparkling flounders and other strange creatures – and invent their stories set in the deep sea. You can join in at 17:15, 18:15, 19:15 and 20:15.
(Active participation from age 5; younger children are welcome to come along.)
Interactive sound journeys
(Studio 1)
In Studio 1, there is an interactive sound journey at 17:00, 17:30 and 18:00.
(For 2–6-year-olds; babies are also welcome to join in)
