Talk. Call. Buzz. Sing, whisper, warble! Welcome to the world of vocal art. Together with the composer and performer Christian Kesten, we build sound worlds with voice and objects. Bring your own everyday object – paper bag, cutlery or water bottle, for example – and use it as a musical instrument. In the end we form a voice-object orchestra and conduct each other! No prior musical knowledge is required and everyone (including smaller or older siblings) is welcome.
SchrumpfLABs are open workshops, specially designed for families in every possible variation. We exchange ideas in small groups and carry out our own experiments with images, sound and movement. The LABs are an addition to the pieces being shrunk – a way for families to try something new together and spend some creative time together.
