There are traces of life everywhere in urban nature: branches on the ground, a moss-covered tree trunk, a broken tree stump. If you look and listen carefully, you will discover even more – a woodpecker is building its den, mushrooms are sprouting, beetles are leaving behind mysterious patterns.
What is happening in the wood? What sounds are created? And what stories can be hidden in them? Do the beetles also play “insect music”?
Together with the author and sound artist Christina Ertl-Shirley, we explore wood in the neighborhood and transform our discoveries into sounding stories.
