Anna C. Ortmann
is a freelance actress and director. She worked at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, FFT Düsseldorf, Staatstheater Braunschweig, Auf Kampnagel Hamburg and at the Ruhrtriennale, among others. She studied acting at the University of Music and Theater in Rostock from 2008 to 2012. In addition to spoken theater, she works in an interdisciplinary and multimedia manner.

She is the founder of Mkkakk e.V., which focuses on international projects with a focus on Africa. Her work has been supported by, among others, ifa, the Mitte District Fund and the Performing Arts Fund.
She has also been working as a theater teacher since 2017. At the Theater Morgenstern in Berlin Friedenau, from 2017 to 2021, she took over the pedagogical and artistic management of children’s theater projects as part of Kultur macht stark and in cooperation with SIN e.V., a refugee accommodation for women and children. In Tempelhof and Neukölln she works with the Lunaelaltro Theater on theater educational formats.
Since 2021 she has been leading holiday theater projects for children and young people at the exploratorium berlin.
