Heidemarie Wiesner
Diploma in piano and improvisation at the University of Music “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig with Prof. G. Kootz and Prof. P. Jarchow. Concert soloist diploma at the Sweelinck Conservatory Amsterdam with Prof. H. Dercksen.
In her Italian years, she created several music series in Ferrara and Milan and invented the artists’ meetings that still take place today, called ArtSalon, in which artists of various genres (music, poetry, dance, painting) perform.
Since 2010 Berlin: She has reinvented concert series such as MittagsMusik and ArtSalon with music-historical lectures and live music.
At the exploratorium berlin she deepens her knowledge of improvisation methods. Intensive collaboration with Peter Jarchow, the tenor Stephan Gähler and the violinist Waltraut Elvers in the group musica responsa.
International concert activities: compositions for various ensembles. She directs the annual International Music Week in Montepulciano (Italy) and teaches piano and improvisation in Berlin and America (Nicaragua, USA).
For many years, she has premiered Sorbian works with international musicians at the turn of the year (see also the film „Jahreswende“ on YouTube).
