This workshop will present a number of approaches outlining how improvisation can be used as a way of developing collaborative approaches to music making via an exploration of musical identities and personal histories.
Participants are invited to bring any instrument or sound making object or voice.
Discussions around personals musical identities (what are they and why are they important) will be integrated with a series of short improvisations.
The aim is to create a deeper understanding of personal approaches to improvisation and collaborations and also uncover new strategies for improvisation.
