URUPLANKTARA is a new concert-installation by composer-performers Ute Wassermann, Merche Blasco and Marina Cyrino, featuring guest artists Valentina Magaletti and Tintin Patrone. The project creates a transforming sonic environment in which invented and expanded instruments, voice, DIY electronics, recordings, found objects, household items and natural materials coexist on non-hierarchical terms. Blending acoustic and electronic, human and other-than-human sounds, URUPLANKTARA explores speculative forms of collective composition and hybrid modes of existence that challenge human-centered perspectives. Presented through two concerts with the guest artists and a workshop, the project unfolds as a hybrid artistic form, simultaneously an installation, performance and shared space for artists and audiences.
