What happens when music, poetry, and clowning come together, and no one knows in advance what’s coming next?
With this project, developed as part of STOP OVER 5 – For Young Ears, saxophonist Ulrike Schwarz puts forward a hypothesis: People with ADHD find in improvised music a space where they can flourish.
The wide-ranging, unfocused attention typical of ADHD can be a good foundation for creativity and connection when improvising. Dealing with the unexpected meets the need for variety. *Auch das noch!* aims to help raise awareness of ADHD in the world of improvised music and open up a space of possibilities for children—with and without ADHD.
The musicians, a poet, and a clown take the children on a journey into a world full of improvised surprises. They invite them to listen, marvel, and join in. This turns the concert into a special experience:
Children who participated in the preparatory workshop on November 14, 2026, will improvise on stage together with the professional musicians.
Participation in the workshop is not a prerequisite for attending the concert. All children ages 6 to 10 are warmly invited to attend the concert and discover improvised music for themselves.
Children from 6 to 10 who would like to participate in the concert can sign up for the free improvisation workshop “Auch das noch!” on November 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
