Imagine this: we’re setting off on a great journey into the unknown. You don’t yet know exactly where we’re heading or what the route will look like. But together we’ll find out. We’ll map out an itinerary and think about which waters, deserts, mountains or whatever else might lie ahead. What modes of transport will we use? Hot-air balloons, rowing boats, elephants? What obstacles lie in wait along the way? Perhaps snow-covered mountain passes, giant octopuses, smoking volcanoes or a herd of stubborn camels? And how will we overcome them? By doing headstands, spitting over our shoulders three times, or playing high-pitched flute notes?
Afterwards, we’ll re-enact this journey using our musical instruments and sound-makers, and invite your parents to join us as an audience so they can experience it alongside us.
