Režný / Ratmansky
Martin Režný plays modular synthesizers solo (Säkkikangas) and in improvised ensembles (with Kazehito Seki, Ryosuke Kiyasu, Utku Tavil, Slavek Kwi etc…). He has performed concerts in seven European countries and releases recordings on Korobushka records.
Vasily Ratmansky (he/him) is an American/Ukrainian composer, curator, performer and educator (whatever else you want him to be), currently based in Berlin. His work concentrates on the experiential side of music, working with different stages, audiences, interactive set-ups, sound goals, sound thingies e.t.c.. Together with Ingvill Statle Skjørten and Volker Sondermann, he runs the concert series dasKONZERT in Dresden.
Foster / Keller
Michael Foster is a NYC-based saxophonist & curator whose work explores the dialogue between improvisation and queer identity. As a saxophonist, he often uses extensive instrument preparations and amplification alongside a broad tone inspired by the jazz tradition. Some of his current projects include Michael Foster with Strings, The Ghost, The New York Review of Cocksucking, Foster-Weber-Griener Trio/Quartet with Steve Swell, Foster-Bordeuil-Corsano, Duos with Ben Bennett & John Blum. He often works with Brandon Lopez, Marina Rosenfeld, Sarah Hennies, William Parker, Nate Wooley, Sean Meehan, Luke Stewart, Lydia Lunch, Tom Malmendier, Emilie Skrijelj, and was worked with rock bands like Psychic TV, Spiritualized, Thee Oh Sees, and more.
As a curator he has founded many series throughout NYC including Queer Trash in 2015 with Richard Kamerman, which was awarded the 2018 Suzanne Fiol Curatorial Fellowship from Issue Project Room.
The innovative guitarist, composer and sound engineer Beat Keller is one of the most important Swiss musicians in the field of improvised and experimental music.
Through the exploration of extended playing techniques, guitar tunings and the use of his Feedbacker Electric Guitar, he has developed a unique musical language. He lives and works in Berlin and Winterthur and tours worldwide. Beat Keller plays regularly with Joke Lanz, Axel Dörner, Saadet Türköz, Jorge Espinal, Ute Wassermann, Shelley Hirsch, Burkhard Beins, Mariá Portugal, Michael Thieke, Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Werner Puntigam, Cara Stacey and many others.
