Anniversary Exhibition with Photographs by Cristina Marx/Photomusix: Concerts at the exploratorium berlin
Photographer Cristina Marx aka Photomusix has been meticulously documenting the international free jazz and improvisation scene for many years. To mark the 20th anniversary of the exploratorium, she is showing concert photographs from its history.

The ensemble explorativ gives concerts every year in ever new constellations; it is made up of facilitators from the exploratorium berlin, all of whom work with improvisation and represent different disciplines.

The King Übü Örchestrü, one of the most important orchestras for improvised music, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with many members of the original line-up. Far from free jazz, it was a style-defining force for large, collectively improvising ensembles.
