Edges and resistance: The Process towards more Creativity

When making music we usually follow the spontaneity and flow of the music. We have a feeling for when the music is flowing and enjoy surprises that arise from free play. On the other hand, it bothers us when we feel uncreative, feel no flow or when it is difficult to make music with others. In this case we might be on the edge to something we don’t know yet.
In this workshop we will welcome these situations and explore resistance, stagnation, spinning, boredom, etc., in order to draw out the creative power hidden within. Edges are important. They show us precisely where and how we can rise above ourselves. When we surrender to this process, we experience ourselves and our music changed and expanded. The creative framework becomes larger and accordingly our music and that which we create with others becomes more congruent and alive.
