Accesses to exploratorium

Dear visitors to the exploratorium berlin,

even though the unpredictable is our profession, we would like to try to shed some light on the current access situation to the exploratorium.

There are a total of 3 entrances:

Entrance G / Eingang G (through gastronomy)

since the restaurant has finally closed until we find a new partner, this entrance is only opened for our two concert series Improvisation International and Sound and Lecture.

Entrance H / Eingang H (Hof/courtyard)

is currently our main entrance for visitors.
There are several gates in the large courtyard grid. From April 2024 the left gate is open for us, the middle one will be locked soon.
Here, the path leads to a door in the middle of the building, which is clearly marked.
When events are taking place, the door into the building can be opened with a code which you get from the facilitor of your event.
Please keep the door closed, because we do not want “uninvited guests”.

Both entrances (H and G)

lead to our foyer on the ground floor, where our concert hall is located.
The staircase or elevator takes you to the other floors: the basement with Studio 1, the 1st floor with the explo office and the 2nd floor with Studio 2 and Studio 3.

Entrance B / Eingang B (Büro/office)

is relevant for those who have an appointment with a team member in the office, for example for room briefings or similar.
This entrance is located in the tenant stairwell. Please ring the bell downstairs, the office is on the 1st floor.
