In a safe environment, you can experience with us how movement turns into dance, voice becomes music and play becomes performing arts!
This course is based on body- and movement-oriented improvisation and focuses on mindfulness, awareness and change processes. We integrate everything that is there and encourage spontaneous, conscious expression.
A warm-up phase with relaxation exercises, “BrainDance” and voice work brings us into the here and now.
We then explore an idea or theme through individual, partner and group exercises. Through the open group structure, we have new play partners and experience new and temporary situations, which expands our ability to improvise. Playful ease and imitation free us from the pressure to be particularly original or creative. We experience and celebrate pure being as creativity.
Voice, speech and movement are our instruments. You are welcome to bring other own instruments. We also have sound instruments at our disposal in explo.
Seeing and being seen, sometimes serious, humorous or childish and sometimes absurd, grotesque or philosophical. We experience all facets of human experience in the exercises and show them in small performances in front of the group.
The course is suitable for both beginners and experienced improvisers. It is an open group. It is possible to join, leave and return at any time.
Languages: the facilitator speaks German, English and Turkish. The improvisers can improvise in all or their languages.
